Wonderful vintage 1936 Art Deco-style poster advertising the Tyrol Passion Play's 600 Year Jubilee in Austria. Dated 1936 and signed in the dramatic print "Hans Kothmair". Measures 24" x 37" and is in fair to good vintage condition (untested; unable to grade posters).
There is edge wear and some small edge tears (some go into the print, but not far), and a few horizontal creases. I see no stains, holes, or serious tears. Small print on the bottom reads "publie par l'osterreichische verkehrswerbung" and "werbedienst des bundesministeriums fur handel und verkehr" and "imprime en autriche aux editiond wagner, innsbruck". I believe this indicates that this was a travel poster advertising the show, rather than just used within Austria.
I haven't found this exact poster online in the four months I've been searching, so it must be pretty rare.
